Churches and ministries

Build a website for your church or ministry

A visitor deciding whether to come on Sunday wants three answers: when, where, and what to expect. Members want the next event and a way to give. A church website can answer all of it on a few pages.

What a church website needs

Service times and location

Up front, with a map and directions for first-time visitors.

What to expect

A short welcome from the pastor or leaders, with photos of the people and the building.

Sermons and livestreams

Embed your YouTube sermons or link to your live service.

Events and a countdown

The next conference, crusade or youth day, with a countdown to it.

Giving

Your mobile money numbers and bank details on the page, or a button to a giving link from your payment provider.

Prayer requests

A contact form that sends requests privately to your email.

About the template

There is no church template of its own yet. The Rivermouth Trust community template fits a church well: a welcome story, where the money goes, ways to give, a volunteer day countdown, a giving form and a map. Change the words and photos to your congregation's.

What it does not do

  • There is no online giving checkout built in. Members give through the mobile money numbers, bank details or payment link you show.
  • There is no member database or event registration system.

Which plan you need

The template uses blocks from the Essential plan ($4.99 a month), such as forms, maps, galleries and tables. Essential gives you up to 10 pages per site, your own domain and no Acyera banner.

You can start free. A free site may publish paid sections for 21 days after its first publish, so you can see your real site live before you decide. The free plan on its own is one page with the basic blocks.

Questions

Questions people ask

Can people give online through the website?

You can show your mobile money and bank details, or add a button to a giving link from a payment provider you use. Acyera does not process donations itself.

Can I show our livestream?

Yes. Embed a YouTube video or live stream with the video block, on the Essential plan, or link to it with a button on any plan.
