Custom domains

Put your website on your own domain

A domain like yourbusiness.com makes a small business look established and is easy to remember. Connect one you own to your Acyera site on any paid plan, and visitors see only your name in the address bar.

How connecting a domain works

  1. Buy a domain

Acyera does not sell domains. Buy one from any registrar, such as Namecheap, GoDaddy, Cloudflare or a local registrar.

  2. Add it to your site

Open your site in the dashboard, go to Domain, and enter the domain or subdomain you want to use.

  3. Set the records we show you

Acyera prepares your domain and shows the exact DNS records to add at your registrar.

  4. Go live

Once the records are in place, the secure https certificate is issued automatically, usually within a few hours.

What you get

Only your brand

Visitors see your domain, not an Acyera address.

Questions

Questions people ask

Can I connect a domain on the free plan?

No. The free plan publishes on a free address like yourname.acyera.com. Any paid plan lets you connect a domain you own.

Do I have to buy my domain from Acyera?

No, and you cannot: Acyera does not sell domains. Keep your domain with the registrar you bought it from and add the records Acyera shows you.

Can I use a subdomain like shop.mybusiness.com?

Yes. You can connect a root domain or a subdomain. The records you add are slightly different, and the domain page shows you which.
