01Free and paid plans

Acyera offers a free plan and several paid plans. The free plan is genuinely free and has no time limit and no forced trial expiry. Paid plans unlock additional blocks, higher limits on sites and pages, custom domains, and other capabilities. The exact features and prices of each plan are shown at the point of purchase, and they are the ones that apply to your order.

02How billing works

When you buy a paid plan, you are charged in advance for the billing cycle you choose. Payments are processed by our payment partner, PesaPal, which supports mobile money and card networks. Acyera does not store your full payment-card details on its own systems.

Prices are shown exclusive of any taxes, duties, or fees that apply to you. You are responsible for those amounts unless the law requires us to collect them on your behalf. Currency and available payment methods may depend on your location.

03Renewals and cancellation

Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle, at the then-current price, so that your sites and features keep running without interruption. Renewal continues until you cancel.

You can cancel at any time from your dashboard. When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the cycle you already paid for, and it does not renew after that. At the end of the paid period your account moves to the free plan, and features that need a paid plan, such as extra sites, higher limits, or a custom domain, stop being available. Your content is not deleted when you downgrade, but content that exceeds free-plan limits may become unpublished until you are within those limits again.

04Refunds

Because you can try the platform fully on the free plan before you pay, and because plans deliver their value as soon as they are active, payments for paid plans are generally non-refundable, and partial periods are not pro-rated when you cancel.

We know life is not always tidy, so we do look at exceptions. We will consider a refund where:

  • you were charged because of a genuine billing error on our side;
  • a duplicate charge was taken for the same period; or
  • a core paid feature was unavailable for a sustained period due to a fault on our side, and we could not put it right.

To ask about a refund, contact us within a reasonable time of the charge and tell us what happened. We review each request in good faith and decide fairly.

Some places give you a statutory right to a refund or a cooling-off period that an agreement cannot remove. Nothing in this policy limits those rights, and where they apply, they apply in addition to what is written here.

05Price changes

We may change plan prices as the platform evolves. When a change would affect what you pay, we will give you advance notice before it applies to your next renewal, so you can decide whether to continue. If you do not want to renew at the new price, you can cancel before the renewal date.

06Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, we may retry it and let you know so you can update your payment method. If payment cannot be completed, your paid features may pause or your account may move to the free plan until payment is resolved. We will not delete your content because a payment failed, though content that exceeds free-plan limits may become unpublished until you upgrade again or bring your account within those limits.

07Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us first. We can usually sort out a billing question faster and more fully than a payment dispute can. Starting a chargeback or payment reversal without contacting us may lead to your paid features being suspended while the dispute is open. If a chargeback is later found to be unjustified, we may reinstate the amount owed and any related account limits.

08Referral commissions

If you were referred by an Acyera partner, or if you are a partner yourself, payments you make can generate a referral commission. Refunds, reversals, and cancellations can affect commissions that were based on those payments. How commissions are earned, adjusted, and paid is set out in our Partner Program Terms.

09Changes to this policy

We may update this Billing and Refunds Policy as our plans and payment options change. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top. Using a paid plan after an update takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
